Concrete Jungle

As a society we often tend to focus on satisfaction of our own pleasures ahead of all else. We frequently sacrifice the environments we live in for the sake of entertainment, leisure, and ease of living. All this takes a toll on our natural spaces and sometimes ends in irreversible damage. The planet has been here since long before mankind existed and will still be here long after we cease to exist, but while we're here it is important to remember that we are only ruining these things for ourselves. Having more respect for the places we live is paramount to our advancement and survival as a species. We need to be the champions of our own existence and stop leaving these important matters to the people currently in power. It's become increasingly apparent that they have little interest beyond expanding their own wealth and influence.
