The Blue Bee Art Studio

I  adopted the name, The Blue Bee Art Studio, back in my college years. Creating the logo and my “brand” was my final project in one of my many Visual Arts Classes. We had to create a name and a logo for a blog with a memory from our childhood. My mother was a beekeeper for a very long time during my youth. On many of my return trips to my hometown, I spend time with my mother and observe and assist her in beekeeping. I would constantly check on the bee colonies. On one such trip I was lucky enough to observe a blue colored bee that was co-mingling with all the other standard colored honey bees. I was aware that I encountered a strange moment in nature because blue bees don't typically mix with yellow bees. It was also the first time I'd seen one and the image stuck in my mind forever. That is the reason I decided to design my add the name The Blue Bee Art Studio to my name.
